London Live, the new 24/7 entertainment channel for London has commissioned 20×60 factual entertainment series, called Place Invaders a show that reflects London’s exciting and diverse property market.
Produced by Ricochet, Place Invaders’ showcases some of the capital’s luxurious multi-million pound properties, provides insight into the reality of renting and uncovers smart ways to live in the metropolis for less.
Throughout the series Radio 1 and 1xtra DJ, hip hop artist and property developer Charlie Sloth will bring both his expert knowledge and entertaining wit to exploring high-end living. Showcasing 40 multi-million properties ranging from £1 million to £37 million, Charlie will unveil London’s swankiest designer homes, innovative interiors and most desired gadgets for the home, but can he correctly guess the market value of each one?
Featuring top tips and property market insight from a range of experts, estate agents, and developers, Place Invaders reveals what life is really like for ‘Generation Rent’ – the twenty and thirty something’s who are now forced to rent long term because buying a home in London is just so tough.
Each week, Place Invaders will showcase unique and distinctive properties throughout London and meet owners that are residing in warehouses, micro flats, house boats, recently renovated and modernised council flats, penthouse pads and much more…
With entertainment at its heart and packaged in a lightly formatted wrapper, Place Invaders reflects the trials and tribulations that renters face in today’s climate, offers solid take home tips, and reveals how the other half lives.
