Peter Anti of Concentric Lettings shared with us how to protect your property from theft through protecting the title. He also confirmed that the number of new tenants continue to rise with a 20% rise recorded in recent months. Mark Okuniewski of Drawbridge Construction the first of our main speakers, shared with us some of his 12 years of experience in property. More specifically he talked to us about three of his own personal property investment strategies. Mark explained how he purchased properties, added value to them and sold them on, making significant profits which enabled him to purchase properties to convert to HMOs and hold for ongoing cashflow. Mark also talked us through some amazing development strategies he has employed, for example, how he converted a 3 bed terrace property into a good size 10 bed property. Matthew Moody of Millennia Property gave an interactive presentation with the audience working together on identifying and negotiating a deal, sharing with us his own top ten tips for negotiation. Matthew also explained the key to cashflow and making your property portfolio or business work for you, sharing some of the fundamental systems required to increase profits and leverage your time as you become a more experienced investor.
