In June 2013 it saw an increase of £1.0 billion compared to the average monthly increase of £0.6 billon in the last six months. This represents the fourth monthly increase in Gross Lending and highest change over the last four months.
Mortgage approvals
Loan approval numbers were no surprisingly up in June to 57,667 compared to the average of 54,798 over the previous 6 months.
Approvals for remortgages was also up to £4.6 billion and 31,486 in approvals, against 29,216 over the previous 6 months.
