BBQ or Simon Zutshi, how committed are you?

Simon Zutshi shared with us how he deals with motivated sellers to build rapport and how by asking great questions you can get sellers to share everything with you about the property and their situation.

I went to the Manchester pin last Wednesday and as always it was a really great evening.  It was a beautiful summer’s evening, perfect for a BBQ!  But I think the attendees were all committed to making money from property so went along anyway!! I’ve been going for a year now, so have lots of friends there and it’s really nice to see them at these meetings.  I also talked to a lot of new people who hadn’t been before.  The networking alone is worth going for.  You hear about lots of new opportunities that people are getting involved with, which spark’s new ideas.

Simon Zutshi shared with us how he deals with motivated sellers to build rapport and how by asking great questions you can get sellers to share everything with you about the property and their situation, in order for you to create a win win solution and ensure you pay less for your investment properties.  Simon also delivered a great interactive session, where we were able to take part in a practical exercise to deal with a motivated seller, and how to identify if there is a potential for a purchase lease option.  This was hilarious, I was working with Chris, one of the guys I know really well, so it was great to practice with him.  It’s not as difficult as you might think to talk to a motivated seller and it’s great to practice before you have a real life situation.  We’ve also agreed to buddy up, so we can practice.  Last year I went on Simon Zutshi’s BMV Quickstart course, we did a lot of role playing on the day.  It was well worth the investment and I learned a lot.

Property Investors Quick Start Day

The other speaker for the evening was Amer Siddiq, founder of Property Portfolio Software and Property Tax Portal.  Amer shared with us his 5 top tips for streamlining your property business to ensure you maximise your cash-flow, especially in the current market.  Amer conducted a live demonstration of the Property Portfolio Software showing the benefits of systemising your business using this software, enabling you to manage your property, tenants and finances all in one place.  He also showed how you can easily generate reports such as tenant welcome packs and rent schedules at the press of a button from the data you put in the system.  If you would like to learn more about this offer please visit http://www.propertyportfoliosoftware.co.uk
