New to the show this year is The Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) who will be informing visitors about the domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI). The domestic RHI, which launched this Spring, is aGovernment financial incentive scheme that pays participants for renewable heat generated, to encourage the installation of renewable heating technologies in homes. DECC will be running RHI seminars throughout both days and Ofgem will be on hand to explain how to apply.

In addition, this year, 140 local and national companies will exhibit their latest products, services, systems and technologies to provide consumers with a variety of new options for their projects.  From decorating trend updates, planning inspiration, legal and financial advice to assistance with building an extension and erecting a house, customers will be able to seek information from leading property experts during free one-on-one consultations, daily seminars and masterclasses to help them achieve their plans with success.

The exhibition’s property experts, including Michael Holmes (editor-in-chief of Homebuilding and Renovating and Real Homes Magazine), Jason Orme (editor of Homebuilding & Renovating magazine); Chris Reeves (chartered builder and lawyer, Homebuilding & Renovating magazine’s legal expert); David Snell (Homebuilding & Renovating magazine’s self-build and plot finding expert) and Tim Pullen (eco expert at Homebuilding & Renovating magazine) will share their knowledge at The Seminar Theatre, where all visitors’ queries will receive a tailored solution. Attendees will gain free insights into avoiding common building mistakes, keeping a house project on track, finding reliable builders, cutting costs upfront and implementing sustainable features.

Daily masterclasses are also available for customers keen to understand how to select the most suitable products for their particular needs and get the best value for money.

In addition, visitors can meet with these specialists during one-on-one consultations at the Ask the Experts area to discuss their individual requirements, project queries and plans.
