We hope this blog post finds you safe and well in this very strange time for all of us and like many countries across the world, the UK as instructed by Boris Johnson is now in lock down.
The UK authorities have introduced a complete ban on evictions (lasting at least 90 days) which also affects those evictions currently in progress. There is every chance this ban will be extended as and when the impact on the UK property market and economy becomes clearer. In tandem with this move, the UK government also announced mortgage payment holidays for those impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. But what about the long-term effects of this?
What about property investors that have portfolio’s and are therefore reliant on their tenants being able to pay rent on time (or at all) so that landlords like you can pay their mortgage lenders. So, what do we do? How do we proactively take control of our own financial futures not just for the next few months but for the rest of our lives?
Well we (Alec and I) have been wrestling with those sorts of questions for the last few months and it’s the principle reason we decided to take direct action ourselves and started the process on 3 of our Mortgages through the Mortgage Strike Off process with Mortgagefree.
Mortgagefree is a company that Alec and I have been introduced to through a trusted friend. To be honest we were sceptical but the claims Management Company are regulated by the FCA so it gave us the comfort to go ahead.
They also provide free online comprehensive information to help you to see what you can do about any mortgages you currently have or have had in the past.
We ran an inner circle webinar last week with the Management Team from Mortgagefree which had a huge attendance and we received amazing feedback from it.
Therefore, we have decided to run another webinar session exclusively for the subscribers on the platform. The session will run on Thursday April 9th at 7pm.
If you are interested in looking at your mortgages and how they could be struck off in order to secure your financial future; then it’s well worth attending.
To be able to attend the webinar you just need to register onto the Mortgagefree education platform by clicking here:
Then we’ll send you the inner circle webinar registration link.
We know this will be a very popular webinar and places will be limited so don’t forget to:-
- Go to the free Mortgagefree Education platform
- View some of the information
- Look out for an email inviting you to the webinar
- See you on the webinar on Thursday April 9th at 7pm
Wishing you all the best.
